Local Desktop Apps

This provides the optimized way to access your cloud hosted desktop and apps, but requires a local client to be installed. Please click the logo below to download the latest client and complete the install.

Important: For your first ever login to this system you should always open "Desktop" first to setup your profile correctly, after this you can use apps and desktop in any order.

Also if you have windows hello setup with a PIN code, you cannot use your PIN to access the app, you must select the Password option and enter this when required to login to the app.

Note: For video calls to work correctly you must ensure Teams shows as WVD optimized. Click on the 3 dots, select Help, then About, and you should see a status bar as highlighted below.

If it states your NOT optimised, simple quit teams and open again and it should then confirm its optimized.

Once you have the application installed you can open this in future to access your apps and desktop as it will store your settings locally and refresh automatically each time you open it. The app will be called "Remote Desktop".
